1. Hij is zojuist gelanceerd!

    • Gaat alles wel goed? Ik zie nu deze melding. https://twitter.com/hdewolf/status/1417915385303773187?s=19

      • Angele van Oosterom zegt
        • Van het forum vandaag: The Russian module “Science” (MLM-U), which yesterday successfully launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome and injected into the target orbit, encountered malfunctions in the fuel system, said N + 1 a source in the rocket and space industry. To raise the orbit and approach the ISS, “Nauka” must turn on the engines four times; due to a failure, the module may not have enough fuel for all maneuvers, he said. The press service of Roscosmos reported that there is no new data on the state of MLM yet, information about the first attempt to turn on the engines may come after 15:00 (MSK)…
According to the source of N + 1, judging by the telemetry information, too high a pressure was created in the fuel system, as a result of which the bellows broke and the fuel flowed into the gas cavity behind the bellows membrane. This means that some of the fuel may not get into the pipelines and to the engines, which, in turn, jeopardizes the ability to reach the ISS. On the other hand, the source notes, similar telemetry data can create malfunctions in the fuel system valves.

  2. Stuwmotoren doen het alsnog. “The telemetry data confirmed the operability of the module’s propulsion system. The next pulses for further orbit building are scheduled for tomorrow, July 23rd. Undocking and flooding of the Pirs module is scheduled for Saturday 24 July.”
